Well this is the best part because I get to help those coming up the ranks with their forms, movements, definitions, and techniques. Physically, Tae kwon Do means a development of strength, grace, balance, coordination, speed, reaction, flexibility, endurance, and cardiovascular conditioning.
Some of these values and concepts are commitment, respect, discipline, courage, humility, honesty, and speed control. As a candidate for black belt rank, I now have a different perspective of Tae Kwon Do, and different motivation for attending each class. I am committed to always being on my best behavior so that I am a role model for the younger students. Here I am three years into my Tae Kwon Do journey getting prepared for my test to attain the rank of 1st Dan. How long should it be? One thing meditating has taught me is to relax and clear my mind.
